Pictured left are Goldens Gidget and Rosie, frisky and full of curls after a swim in the Boise River! It was their ever-sweet demeanor taken advantage of, that would become the inspiration leading to Meridian's "First Professional" Pet Sitting business. Because of them and them only, an endless amount of local area pets have ultimately benefited through the insensitive misery endured by my innocent girls...
Year 1994 after arriving back home from Canada earlier than expected, I hurried anxiously to pick up my Golden Retriever sisters at what I thought to be a decent Meridian boarding facility. Arriving impromptu, I discover this kennel quite the opposite of my assumption. Unfortunately this business is still operating. There on that horrid day when I expected to find my pups in such exuberant happiness, both instead had been mistreated... gloomy, lethargic, dehydrated, unkempt. These were girls normally full of energy and always smiling.
Through so many tears on the drive home, I realized there simply had to be an alternative choice for pet owners, and with little hesitation 'PawsWatch' came to life! PawsWatch would be the very FIRST Professional Pet Sitting business to adorn Meridian Idaho!
The benefits of this choice would now bring kindness and comfort to pets, along with convenience and clear peace of mind for their humans! Rewards galore for everyone! As my own personal bonus... the delight and privilege of daily indulgence in the company with cats and dogs and birds, bunnies, ducks, ferrets, goats, horses, llamas, etc! PawsWatch would be a welcomed LLC STATE LICENSED business; unrelated to the overused 'verified'!
As proud founder, owner and pet sitter of so many amazing pets, my rewards became even greater than anticipated with continual increase in demand, impacting my commitment to providing your pets with exceptional care. Soon realizing inevitable change was necessary and after much deliberation, it was with heavy heartache that my care for dogs, etc. would come to an end. Going forward, in order to fulfill my assurance to pets and their parents for premier pet care, PawsWatch will now focus entirely on enhanced CAT CARE; thus, CatSitter Meridian!
CatSitter Meridian is clearly unique - as a genuine cat connoisseur, not only do I understand and appreciate the essential needs and mannerisms of a cat but feel sincerely privileged to be their caregiver. And just as we cat lovers know all too well, cats purr~~~ pleasurably on the receiving end of privilege!
Cultivating pet care knowledge is not an overnight undertaking as many may assume. There are multitudes of both personal and professional hands-on situations which take years to grasp; even 28 years later variations do occur. It is with passionate support for animals everywhere that each pet in my charge is not only cared for as my own, but also becomes every bit as special as the previous and as the next.

Filling my fancy for golden cats, our three fellows above are just the right fit! Rescues of course, their uniqueness compliments one another. All with five years difference, Gus is the middle guy... small, cute as a button, easy-going and cuddly. Seven is diabetic and lives with daily insulin... he is very sweet and so beautiful. Our funny lanky Milo is the newbie who came to us as a fearful kitty, but now feeling comfort in his safe new surroundings :)
